"Challenge and Oppertunity" Austin Minton "Sunset"
The reason I chose these two colors purple/ red is because, I wanted to recreate the image of a western sunset just when the sun is about to set in the west and the moon is already in the sky, is when you have the perfect picture in the sky.

Unit 1 CPR Assignment 1 Austin Minton
Unit 1 CPR Assignment 1
September 19 2012
I learned countless new varieties of art and how people use these artistic techniques to express their emotions onto pieces of paper. I also learned how people often judge there art and express what they feel when looking at their art. It gave me a new perspective on art and express what they feel by looking at their art. There are so many types of art and if you think about it whenever someone writes, paints, draws it’s all forms of art. Art is a reflection into one persons mind. It’s not what you see it’s what you feel. I also learned the three involvements in art creating, performing, and respond and how people use it to improve their art. Creating takes a lot of time and effort. The artist has to put a lot of time into their art whether it be playing music, painting, and plays. Each individual has their own unique way of creating this and spending days and night getting it just right is part of creating just the right art.
Performing- I learned that artist want to share their creative art with an audience. Sometimes this lets the artist express his or her art to others. This art is what makes our world more colorful and we all can relate to art in some fashion or form.
Responses are the hardest part of art. This will tell an artist their hard work has paid off. You will always get different responses but I learned that it is very disrespectful to the audience to have a negative response to an artist. This is something that someone has put their time and heart into. I think a lot of people don’t understand the CPR of art. I have to say this assignment has given me a better understanding of the art and you may not respond the same as the artist or may not be same. Like the performance but have enough respect for the creativity of art and be respectful.
