I think someone who has a pioneering spirit is someone who
has paved the way for other artist. Aaron Copland was a good example of this.
He was a teacher and a writer and he loved music. I think another example of this
pioneering spirit is Angelina Belle Peyton she was from my home state Kentucky.
She made the statue of Angelina (Peyton) Eberly firing
cannon is located in downtown Austin. These two artists weren’t afraid
to push boundaries and discover new territories in art. An artist is a seeker
who knows there's so much more to learn. This is someone who will stand up and
do what they love with a passion and not be afraid to express their appeal of
art to the world, no matter what the world thinks. These artist set up stones
for artist to come. These two artists made the art world a free spirit. I think
anyone who is an artist wither it is music, visual art, dance, or theater. If
they have left a mark in history they have a pioneering spirit.

Aaron Copland was also a great composer, if you haven't listened to his works like Appalachian Spring: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4E1JYP5Tgc
ReplyDeleteBut I love your answer. Artists who have paved the way for others to follow certainly have pioneering spirits, but any kind of artist who has been bold enough to create and put their work out there has it as well. Very, very well said. Thanks again for all your work on these entries. I have noticed and appreciated your thoughtfulness.
